Markers, Pens and Highlighters

Markers, pens and highlighters are great for being able to quickly color code while you are working in your planner. This method of color coding makes it quick for you to either write in the color from your key or highlight so that you can quickly see what your next task might be.

Post It Notes and Flags

Post it notes are great for organizing your task list by time of day or by energy level. You can write your list right on the post it note and put them in the time of day that you want to complete the tasks in. You can also organize your to do list by person and give each person a task to complete. They are easy to help assign for small children or even teenagers.

Page Marker Post Its are perfect for quick reminders of the importance of something on your list. You can easily see the bright colors and realize the urgency behind getting that task done first.

Color Coding Dots

Color Coding Dots are perfect for coordinating between your list and your calendar. They don’t take up much space, they are transparent and they add a nice pop of color.

Whatever you choose to color code with keep in mind that the system is yours and only you can make it work for you.
